Steamboat and MBS
2 weeks ago, before my field camp and ivan enlistment, we had a mini gathering to celebrate the very GLORIOUS moment of our life! HAHA... A steamboat gathering with me, ivan, christopher and Jasmine. We went to yaki yuki at marina square, it wasn't bad but the price was a bit steep at about $25 per pax. Had a great time with them always!
The thing about yaki yuki is that we can fry our own ice cream. Ya, the idea is kinda weird and its actually kinda hard to "fry" our own ice cream but we had fun and enjoyed ourself although our ice cream kinda taste fail.. HAHA... I guess the idea is more of a novelty than a real practical one. It also trains your arm strength I guess! HAHA...
After eating, we went to walk walk.. I needed to buy tights for my field camp to prevent abrasion.. Ivan went home to have dinner with his family, chris and jas went hunting for tights with me, thanks a lot! In the end, we went to town and I got my tights from elieen because she's working at Nike and have staff discount! 40% off! So the tights was only $22. Quite worth it i guess! Thanks a lot elieen!! 
Hmmm.. Met Dor for dinner while the others went to walk around and heard that they went to kids shop to terrorize the toys and made them do BAD BAD things.. LOL..
After parting with dor, went back to join them. Christine joined us for prawning session! YAYNESS.. Christopher left us to go home.. Bohooo... As you can see from the above, 3 of them accompany me to go Toy'R'Us to see present for my nephew bday. Its quite funny that they are so interested in toys like kids 
I guess everyone have a part of them not wanting to grow up! XD
So we joined back with Ivan and Sky to prawn. Initally plan was to go bishan but upon reaching, it was FREAKING crowded. Change of plan, we went pasir ris to prawn instead. At some ulu ulu place which you could get raped and nobody will ever know! HAHA.. Ya, its that ulu. $24 for 3 hours.. So, me got the first blood on the prawn. I guess its beginner luck~? In total, we caught about 20+ to 30+ prawn for 5 of us. Ivan say its pathetic, I guess for me being first timer, its not bad bah.
Yesterday, I sort of made an outing to chinatown to ease my craving of the Yang Tau Fu and all the cheap but good food in that area! It was really an eating day for me!
So, the participant of the day was Christopher, Sky, Me, Jasmine and later in the day, Mario dropped by to have dessert with us and Surin came to watch movie with us.
The Yang Tau Fu is still as fabulous from what I can remember. Taste is still there and the ingredient is still as fresh but sadly the queue is also still as long as before! Went there around 2pm? Queued for about 10 - 15 minutes for 4 bowl of Yang Tau Fu. It was worth the wait, honestly. After eating, Mario came by to join us and brought us to some dessert place for dessert. Where he and Sky came up with all the cold and lame joke and made me have to wear my jacket because it was really too cold for me! HAHA...
After which, we went to Marina Bay Sand to walk walk. Literally WALKED to marina bay sand because we actually don't really know the way there, so we kinda took the long way. The place itself isn't bad but most of the area is still under construction so it look rather run down and dusty still. Took a stroll around, looking at some of the shop and doing window shopping.
There was this big bowl thingy which everyone was throwing coin into it like some wishing bowl or something. There is a hole in the middle of the big bowl and I guess people think that throwing the coin into it will grant them luck or something like that. Sky commented "Someday, I will just put a hole somewhere and people will start throwing money into it and I will be rich!" HAHA.. Good luck sky! Become rich le don't forget about me!
Sat down at coffee bean new concept bistro and had some rest. Had quite a nice chat there and a lot of fun like Sky wanting to take picture with the girl on still. Looking at people zhao geng on top of us! HAHA.. EVERYONE OF THEM LOOKED OK! NOT ONLY ME.. Ahem.. Really great time spent there.
Surin came down from pasir ris to meet us and mario went off to some bday party. So we went comex, took a walk around, pushed through the crowd. Bought nothing and went off to watch movie! LOL.. Lame much, I know.
Before movie, we went to mcdonald and ate dinner. Originally we wanted to go geylang for sky orgasm fix (Durain FYI) after the movie but we were too tired, so we split up and went home after the movie. We watched Going the distance, its not bad at all actually. Sky kinda fell asleep inside but I kinda enjoyed the romance comedy. Justin Long is quite a good actor and with Drew Berrymore, it made the movie even better! Lots of funny scene and one of the movie I would highly recommend if you got nothing much to do!
So, anyway, now I am waiting for my POP le, most of my high key event had already passed. Left with SOC and IPPT only... Then would be Games day, Recruit Night, OC Night and finally my 24km route march to marina barrage! Oh, did I post that I am going to POP at marina floating platform? HAHA... Shiok much! Week By Week
Well sometimes to blog here, i'm not sure to blog about stuff that are happening in my life or blog about stuff in his life. i will feel so weird to blog about stuff about my life cause after all this is his blog. WELL WELL ..
Today i shall talk about a bit of both our lives ba.
Starting with his of course. James just had outfield last week and this week, he has SIT. Which means it is like a second outfield but this time, SIT is only 3 days. He went today and he will be back on friday. And well of course of his field camp, SIT and urban Ops, he postpone his appt and physio till 3 weeks later. Oh well just hope that his arm wouldnt hurt so bad anymore. He indeed didnt complain much about shoulder pain anymore but well i do wonder how is it. About one month more he will POP and i guess thats sth he's very happy and looking forward to ba. =) but before all that come, PIG him has to pass him IPPT and complete his 24km road march !!
Now about me. i've been working at butterfly park. Well, schedule and all are pretty flexible that i like but i guess cant expect much for the pay too? it's just 6.50 per hour. i'm still contemplating to get temp office hour job. the pay is better of course but the dead sitcked routine, i hate it. Plus if i work that, i can't go to appointments with this guy. Well, still thinking....
In the meantime, there's good and bad for my job. Mentioned the good thing and the bad thing is "SHE" very mood swing. That's sth most of us dont like i guess. Sometimes she is just weird la ..
Sometimes i can't find my motivation to work either .. of course everyone wishes to have alot of money so that they can do what they want but sometimes i dont even know what i want to do with these money. i do have things that i want to buy but yet again sometimes i'll think that they are not things that i need and i can't bare to spend those money den those money will all go to good food ..(and ya that explains my size)
And of course i wanna spend some time and have a getaway. i wanna like keep traveling to nice places and now, i'm hoping that i can go tioman in Oct. Scared i have lousy planning den it fail .. =/

FIELD CAMP OVER LOooooo

Well, my whole last week was spent out in the jungle at CCP8, Casual Collection Point 8, its a reclaimed land somewhere in tekkong.. The whole week was quite alright actually. It's not that xiong but yet again, there are times which is just like hell.
All the five days, our long 4 is covered in mud and our knee is sore like hell because we had to leopard crawl and high kneel whenever we have nothing to do.
The food was quite ok to me, the out field ration is actually quite tasty, maybe not the best but to me its actually better than our cook house food! HAHA...
Wore my tights for 5 days straight (Thanks elieen for the discount! When u coming to take the wii?), NO ABRASION! YAYNESS TO THAT! Ok, maybe it smelled a bit but still! NO ABRASION!!!
Even though field camp is over, somehow my pop still seems so far away.. Still got quite a few high key event to go through..
Not enough sleep ah not enough sleep..

HELLLoooo.. I am here doing a quick update on stuff!
Last saturday went to Singapore discovery center for my education trip with regards to my national service. Its quite an interesting trip with a lot of fruitful insights.
Booked out on saturday and booked in on sunday.. Quite fast time flew by..
After I booked out from discovery center, went to "tie ta" for treatment of my right shoulder.. Well, the sensei used a suction pump thingy to treat it, now its "orh che" and hurt like hell when anything touches it! Hope I would be fine for my live firing this week tuesday.
Watched air bender at night, quite nice effect but very dumb and no link story.. Hmm.. lol..
Booking in was quite a bitch, just a night of rest and we have to book in already.. Time is just not enough!!! ARGhhhhh..
Next week is field camp le.. Scared but excited.. Once in a lifetime experience to feel more shag than week 0.. HAHA...
Hope tomorrow I can get marksman for my shooting!

To celebrate our dearest homeland birthday, we get holiday! HOW AWESOME!?!? sad to say though.. STILL CANNOT SEE NDP because need to book in by 9.40pm! Sian...
Nevertheless, this week was super duper! On saturday, went out with them to drink at clarke quay~ Well, quite enjoyable I guess...
On Sunday, went out with ahmad, sky and jasmine... Ate at vivocity, the mussel guys. IT SUCKS! ITS A SCAM! THE SERVICE IS OK BUT THE FOOD IS TOTALLY TOTALLY CRAP! :p
Then we went geylang to eat durain... WOoooo 2 durain for $52 O_O imbal mao sha wang and D24!! Sky was like having orgasm while eating it.. We also had mangosteen but the fruit isn't exactly big and as satisfying like the durain..
After that, went to yong he you tiao wang! I had you tiao and mee sua.. Really is fat fat man! xD
Next week is quite a tiring week for me due to the tight schedule in camp.. I hope I won't be burned.. More over, I will only be booking out on saturday! ARGhhhhh...

Appointment
Well, this boy book out today to go to hospital for his appt for orthopaedic. Doc says it's nth much and he classify it as muscle strain too. Well but he has to go back for check up in a mth's time. And till then, will see how the situation goes again. But he needs to go back for physiotherapy like 2 weeks later.
Now that everything not really working, lets just pray hard that everything will be fine for him and at the same time, i'm trying very hard to get him to go for acupuncture !! AUNTIE CHAN !! Pls help me to psycho him too !! This boy is way too stubborn !!! HELP !!!!!

Monday, I have a medical appointment with orthopedist for my shoulder. I really really hope everything is ok.
Had been doing a lot of thinking and although being a recruit is sian and kinda fucked up but looking back, I am very sure the experience would be the best during my 2 years army life. Everyone tell me that BMT is the only "fun" time and I can already see why.
Didn't do anything this weekend.. Never watch movie.. Never go out.. I spent my weekend with an Air Pork! Thanks for spending time with me.. Hehe..
My bunk got 2 person contracted Hand foot mouth disease and now we are kinda in high alert. Bought $70 worth of cleaning product and accessories to bring into camp. HAHA.. Kinda kiasu but its health! ITS IMPORTANT!

Shoulder Pain
Some of you should know that I have an old injury on my shoulder and it came back after my close combat training. Honestly, I am quite worried about this injury because it will determine my fate in NS whether I am to be a man or commander.
Now I am neither here nor there because I've already spent 8 weeks training inside, if I were to be down Pes now, my training would be wasted and its quite wasted to me but I can see it in a positive way that I did physical training and become more fit! I've seen a doctor and gotten an appointment with the specialist on 2nd August 2010. Thanks to Dor and Jas for accompanying me to see doc Yup, its really u 2 that give me motivation to go through all these.
My family is quite concern about my injury as well because afterall, NS is only for 2 years, my shoulder is for life. If anything does happen to it, I will have to live my life with it, the government won't really care, at most my insurance would compensate me maybe 10+k but don't think that would be enough to cover my live expenses eh?
Tomorrow booking in at 6.45am, kinda sian.. Tmr supposingly is also IPPT day.. I CAN'T TAKE IPPT!! EMO MUCH... So i owe dor 2 koi..
Tiredness == moodless
This week book out was spent with IITSC ppl eating steamboat at bugis. Was quite enjoyable meeting up with friends but after steamboat, I felt very tired, it might be because of the usual nights out timing or the massive crowd around bugis. Supposingly to meet up with Jasmine, Mario and Surin for drinking but have to turned them down because of my tiredness and tight pocket.
I think I need to control my spending more because as far as I know, my liabilities are heavier than my current asset, in simpler terms, I am broke.
After next week, it would be IPPT again. This time, I am more prepared! Hopefully I can achieve a sliver, if not, a pass!
My coughing is still as bad as it was last week. I wonder when then I will recover so I can drink KOI? :\
PS. Elieen, I WILL DEFINITELY PASS MY IPPT.
