James adventure in written words

Well.. My BMT journey is coming to an end already. All my high key event such as Field camp, Hand grenade, Live range shooting, Ippt, SOC is all finished. The last 2 week of my BMT is just practice for my graduation day at Marina Bay Floating Platform!

It might sound easy but its very very hard, with lots of thing to remb. , lyrics, songs, marches, timing and what’s not… RAH….

So, the final 2 week, my company 2nd IC, which is my platoon commander, allowed us to bring food in! YAYNESS to that, i actually bought about $70 worth of food but going to split into 2 and bring in separate time. Most likely I will grow fatter because of this.. Ouch… So much for training hard for 3 months.

Talking about training hard.. I failed my IPPT because of Standing Board Jump… The feeling sucks, honestly. In a way, I know it is my fault but because of my height, I am already at disadvantage. Tuesday got a retake for my SBJ, hopefully, which i really pray very very hard that I would pass it. Sigh… If I don’t, I would be a man.. Kinda a waste of my 2 years I guess…

Yesterday, went to XLB buffet with dor, ben and chris. Its really filling and nice The XLB standard kinda dropped because its not exactly hot but more like warm but I guess for the amount of XLB we ate, its acceptable bah.. Haha.. Jing Yi, when u coming back, we go ok?

Ka boom Ka boom Ka boom! I am watching band of brothers while typing this post, somehow looking at the show kinda make me relate myself to it. Most of the term which they use such as platoon, lieutenant, take point, short form and what so ever military based things make me realize that NS is really very useful in time of war to come and prepare us as a soldier to really fight the war. Hopefully in my lifetime, I won’t be using all this skill because that would mean war had come and people would suffer.
