Well, I've touched on this issue b4 but I guess I will touch it again.
Is eating dinner alone considered as a sign of lonliness?
I mean, for me I always try to pull friends to have dinner with me because I would have to settle it outside for sure as my mum don't cook at home due to circumstances. But sometime friends are just not avail. And I basically have to dine alone or take away to eat at home. It's actually a bit sad but I guess it's more on the perspective rather than it being lonely or not. Given certain circumstances, I also like to run errand alone because I have time to myself and reflect upon stuff happening.
But nevertheless, I know my friend would always be there if I need them, isn't it yvonne?

After reading her almost reaching but not reaching 1k blog post. I guess its time i deliver my super long emo speech.

So, a couple of things had been happening in my life. Let's start from a few weeks back.
The gambit interview
For people who do not have any idea what's gambit about. It's actually a collaboration project between singapore and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Basically, if i get through, i do my student internship overseas at boston for 12 weeks. Pretty exciting shit i would say.
It was quite a last minute notification for the interview. Like, 1 day in advance kind of last minute. Either way, we still complete what we need to prepare. A resume, a cover letter and a portfolio. I sort of panic actually because i forgot to take a mugshot for my resume letter but thank goodness for friends staying near temasek poly (YA, thanks zhen ming).
This is the passport sized mugshot which i use in my resume. The top, blazer, tie all belongs to zhen ming (Thanks again!). Below i am still wearing jeans when taking this photo. I will grab the picture which isaiah and px took if i got time.
Either way, i didn't make it to the next round (not sure what it means), pin xun and kenny made it to the next round! Good luck to them.

Iphone
So, i had been bugging my sister and contemplating if i should get an iphone or not. Its a very very very useful piece of device no matter how you see it. I can program game for it (If i am free... HAHA). I got hell from my sister because of the recession and i should save if i can. Not that i don't but i am a techie (Someone who is very into gadget and stuff). So by nature, i'm attracted to such things and its like preventing a bee from honey! I was going through hell, so in the end, i chose a different phone, a cheaper 1 actually.
MWG Zinc 2... It's not bad but its not exactly on par with the iphone. It cost only $100 compared with the iphone costing like $784? A saving of $684. I guess my sister can't complain much on that. Singtel actually gave a premium goodie bag for the purchase of the iphone. Include 2x $8 cashcard, a bluetooth headset, a GPS software, a 1gb micro sd. I find it very worthwhile but the phone is still crappy.
Now i am contemplating to getting a itouch. Oh fickleminded i am.

My bunch of secondary school friends are scaring me badly for NS. For some very weird reason, if my friend who is in NS turn up for our slacking session during the weekend, they would talk only NS stuff and that totally bores me. Not that i mind but they were using lingo like "SOP, CP, Contact on left, blah blah and the list goes on" which is totally alien language to me! ARGh.... One of my friend actually told us his experience in his camp, apprently he had been treated like shit. Being scold vulgarity and being scolded for doing nothing wrong. That's harsh, totally harsh. I don't get the point of NS sometime because nowadays its modern warfare! One click, one touch of a button and there goes a country! Not that NS is redaundant but it doesn't serve its purpose like how it does in the past. Times had changed, war is just not feasible nowadays. I know there's still war going on at the other side of the world (Gaza and israel) but i highly doubt it will happen in singapore. We can't exactly take our safety for granted but this is quite a big issue because singaporean man are actually losing out to foreign talent thanks to NS.
If you do the maths, foreign talent come here to work at the same age of a singaporean man but the singaporean man have to serve NS first. When the man finally comes out of NS, considering that his pay was to be $450 per month. Multiply that by 24 months (If lets say his NAFA fail because passing it with a silver cut 2 months off). It would only be 10k. Anyone who takes a salary of about $800 per month would had earned that amount within 1 year. Sigh.. What to do?
Dinner at my BFF house
Yup, finally i took the plunge and went to my BFF house to have dinner. Apprently her mother want to put a face to the name as she is worried about her adorable and lovely daughter being aducted by a bad big wolf. Right..... I think actually the wolf mother would be more worried but anyway, my BFF family is very pleasent and her mum cooking was very nice MGG, you better claim your free meal asap or you wouldn't know what you had been missing out on!
Photography
Although i am officially the photographer for a club in my school. Sometime i feel kinda being used. I don't know, its a very sucky feeling because if there's some event which actually might need my presence, i won't really be informed until quite last minute. Not that i am complaining or anything but i just hope i can "fit" into them. Or maybe i should just do what BFF did... Hmmm...
Either way, can't wait for 31st jan because there's a cosplay event going on @ NP which some of my photograph kaki would be going down to cover the event. Been quite long since i shot for leisure anyway.
So anyway, officially i clocked in 1000 words for this post. HA, take that joann, 1k HOR.... count if u wanna but i'm sure there's 1k because the word count meter below show 1003.

12.02pm - It's chaotic down here. TKGS SJC(St. joseph convent) was the first school to arrive here and the girls are very very, bimbotic. Visitors are coming and going and its packed! *Jingle is so irritating. I DUN SEE GIRLS, YES VAL, I DUN. NOR GUYS.
