Shoulder Pain
Some of you should know that I have an old injury on my shoulder and it came back after my close combat training. Honestly, I am quite worried about this injury because it will determine my fate in NS whether I am to be a man or commander.
Now I am neither here nor there because I've already spent 8 weeks training inside, if I were to be down Pes now, my training would be wasted and its quite wasted to me but I can see it in a positive way that I did physical training and become more fit! I've seen a doctor and gotten an appointment with the specialist on 2nd August 2010. Thanks to Dor and Jas for accompanying me to see doc
Yup, its really u 2 that give me motivation to go through all these.
My family is quite concern about my injury as well because afterall, NS is only for 2 years, my shoulder is for life. If anything does happen to it, I will have to live my life with it, the government won't really care, at most my insurance would compensate me maybe 10+k but don't think that would be enough to cover my live expenses eh?
Tomorrow booking in at 6.45am, kinda sian.. Tmr supposingly is also IPPT day.. I CAN'T TAKE IPPT!!
EMO MUCH... So i owe dor 2 koi..
Sunset
1 year and 11 month more to ORD... The number seems so big yet it doesn't feel that long for the past 1 month to pass..
Before I booked out, on thursday, I saw the most beautiful scenery in Tekong. The sunset of Tekong was close to breath taking with the ferry terminal in the foreground and the bright orange sky in the background and behind me was a rainbow because of a slight drizzy before.
Actually, I really don't know what I can update here beside my NS life and maybe a bit of what I do during my weekend book out. Life had been rather monotonous, it would either be NS (Considering that monday to friday, sometime to saturday, I am inside army) or that very short moment when I am with my dearest friend. I am running out of topic to write but I will try my best... :\
This week I watched 3 movie, Twilight, Despicable me and Predator. It was a movie marathon of Twilight and Despicable me back to back. I fell asleep halfway through Despicable me and woke up only when the movie ended. Well... without my 7 hours of sleep, I get grumpy and tired! HAHA... Ok, about the movie. Twilight is... Well, Twilight. No head, no tail and always end with a cliff hanger. Despicable me was.. Predictable but cute! Lastly, Predator was LAME........ Don't waste your money on it!
Ok... Hmm... I shall end my post here, will add on more before I book in!
Added on July 11 , 2.52pm
Few more hours to book in.
Sorry dor... Had some things to settle before booking in, so can't accompany you to prawning.
Still not feeling that well with all the coughing and flu.. Hopefully it doesn't get worse... Another week had past just like that, it always feel so fast that the week passes by so fast, soon enough, I would be going to ORD. Can't wait!
Sunday is the most boring day ever because I have to book in and I can't exactly go out or I would have to rush here and there... It sucks, honestly.
Protected: One song is enough..
CCA Award!
On wednesday, its CCA award. I would be out to receive my merit leadership award and best constituent club award. Thankfully my officer allow me to book out for this once in a life time award ceremony!
All the hardwork we put in for AY 09/10, all the tears, all the laughter, all the joy. I guess the term, we reap what we sow is kinda true.
In one more hour, I will have to book in again. Its a very tiring process but I guess, when you grind and train, you will train up yourself to be a better man, more healthy, more fit, more discipline and more appreciative towards a lot of things in life. I appreciate my free time more, I appreciate people more and most importantly, learning how to respect others!
Tekkong Cough is getting to me.. RAH... Hopefully I can recover in time before IPPT which is tomorrow!

5 days more till enlistment.
Today was a very very very tiring but fun filled day.
The photoshoot which Qian Hao, Me, Christopher had been looking forward to! Jing yi also joined us
We went to hort park in the morning (10am is still considered morning ok!) and had some very interesting shot taken. Lunched at vivocity Kopitiam, a bit of walking around and we headed to henderson wave for more shooting.
Dinner at Katong with IITSC, simple yet very fulfilling to see all my other friends. After dinner, was ice cream at ice cream chef, the taste was so so but the company was great.
After ice cream, Michelle joined us and we went to Marina Barrage for more shooting! HAHA.. Crazy, yes, we are crazy!!
Hope the photo will turn out fine
P.S. Qian Hao, I seriously think you look fine

9 days left till my enlistment.
Today was rather productive. I was sick. HA! So that means I stayed at home and played game.
I am currently hooked onto a game called Alan Wake on the Xbox 360.
The game is a thriller adventure game about a story writer and his adventure on an island filled with strange things happening. His wife was kidnapped and the whole story plot was quite mind f-ing. Quite a good time waster.
Beside playing game, I also went out for dinner with a little surprised. Thanks for the honey lemon and chocolate
Although it contradicts each other, Honey lemon is for curing sore throat and chocolate is for making it worse but I know that chocolate must wait till I recover then can eat xD
Tomorrow will be a tiring day!
Food Trip
After the chalet, I went home, took a nap and went out with Jing yi, Nic Soon and Mei mei for a FOOD TRIP AROUND SG!!!!
We met up at Bedok and commerce our trip! First stop, Prawn mee at Marine Parade!
The prawn mee was good stuff and the ngoh hiang was also good stuff!! 4/5 stars, the price was a bit steep though.
So, after a main course, we had dessert!
A place called little ice cream kafe.
We had lychee and hershey dark chocolate. The lychee was great but the chocolate had a powdery taste and texture to it.
So, with our tummy filled, we can't continue our food trip. We decided to sweat some of the food out and so, we went to marina barrage to fly kite! LOL... Random much, ya, I know.
So, after an agonizing hour of trying to get the kite into the sky, we decided to leave barrage because the weather is a killer man!! We needed somewhere with aircon and preferably with cold dessert! Jing yi suggested a chinese dessert place at Chinatown and VROOM we went.
The place was full of good stuff. The dessert was quite nice and we ordered chicken wing by recommendation of Jing yi! It was boneless and the sauce was spicy yet shiok!
After stuffing ourself, we went to vivocity to stroll around and waste some time before heading to our final destination!
BLASTIER FOUNDERS BAK KU TEH!!!!
It was good stuff man. The bak ku teh soup was good but the meat is kinda disappointing. The side dishes was alright in my own opinion though. The teh ka was very tender and is a must try dish.
Graduation Chalet
So, over the weekend, I had a graduation chalet with my fellow IITSC friends.
IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD.
HAHA! A lot of funny things happened!
First night, Irving was drunk and he went around taking photo of himself with others.
Then........
He dragged Ivan when he was leaving, look at the aftermath.
He slept on the floor outside the chalet.
Second night, BBQ night!!! Lots of food, lots of company, lots of fun!
And... I got drunk >_<
I just remember I vomitted, I hugged yong yi, spanked ivan on the butt, knocked zhan jie on the head and say I will zhang his kuku jiao, I called dorothy until I fell asleep with her on the phone, Jasmine laughed at me when I was asleep, some camera flashes when I was asleep. Hmmm.... Weird enough, I didn't wake up to any hung over!
THANK GOODNESS.
So, the chalet ended. Our polytechnic life ended. We have a lot more to go, our future is waiting for us, army, work, studies. To all my friends, Jia you in life.
Nothing
Basically I have a lot of things on hand to complete yet it feels like I have nth to do.
A very good example would be this website. Well, I have changed a new outlook and a new template but it's not what I wanted and not what I designed..
I need more time, I need inspiration! Rah..
Graduation ceremony was held yesterday at Temasek Polytechnic Convention Centre. I went up stage, shook the director hand and took my diploma. Officially, no longer a TP student but a TP Alumni! Horray to that! But deep inside, I know I will miss a lot a lot of things. My friends, my lecturers, my family in TP.
Another new chapter of my life would begin on June 4th 2010 and end on July 4th 2012. How would it be like? Should I be scared? It's a mix bag of fear, excitement, fun and adventure.
Lots of things had happened in the past 3 years and I know I haven't been updating this blog. I will try my best to update it weekly when I am in army but don't be too greedy asking for updates everyweek ah! I am afterall, still human!
Serangoon Sunday
It's interesting to see how the different culture of each races in Singapore exist together.
Today, I went past little India and it was packed with foreign workers and some local as well. Don't get me wrong here, I am totally fine with them, the purpose of this post is about how they can work in such mess!
The road was totally flooded and so is the bus I am currently on. Their culture of holding hand with the same sex is also another interesting trivial which we don't see so often in different races.
It's so interesting to live in Singapore
